Instructions on how to obtain your interfacial tension prediction

1 – According to the chosen system, save your operating conditions in a tab delimited text file (*.txt). Do not write numerical data in the first line, it is reserved for the name of the input variables and their units. Remember: the decimal separator should be dot (.), not comma (,). It is crucial to maintain the order of the input variables.

IFT of CO2/CH4/Water – text file with four columns: pressure [MPa], temperature (K), CO2 concentration (mol %) and density difference (g/cm3).

IFT of CO2/CH4/Brine – text file with f five columns: pressure [MPa], temperature (K), salinity (ppm), CO2 concentration (mol %) and density difference (g/cm3).

2 – A practical approach, to create the text file with the input variables, is to export your data from the excel spreadsheet. In this case, follow these steps:

2.1 – Open the File menu and select the Save as;
2.2 – In the File Format: drop-down box, select the Tab delimited Text (*.txt) option;
2.3 – Select the Save button. If you see warning messages pop up, select the OK or Yes button.

3 – Fill fields in the website with your name, country, email, model, message and attached your file. After that, we will predict the interfacial tension (IFT) for each operational condition sent. The results will be sent to you by e-mail.
